Kendriya Vidyalaya, Baran was established in 1996. It’s new building is situated at Kota Road, Baran which is a classic example of Rajasthani architecture.

A uniform syllabus and text books are followed in all the Kendriya Vidyalayas. Instructions are imparted through the media of English and Hindi with the ultimate aim of enabling the pupils to achieve proficiency in both the languages. The Vidyalayas prepare students for AISSE and AISSCE conducted by the CBSE, New Delhi.
